Dr. Vishal Mandge

After personally experiencing burnout while balancing clinical, academic, administrative, and family responsibilities, he became passionate about understanding the science of burnout and helping others build sustainable careers and meaningful lives.

To date, burnout has largely been described as a psychological phenomenon. However, Dr. Mandge's extensive review of the scientific literature suggests that burnout is also associated with measurable neurological changes that occur alongside its psychological manifestations. His work focuses on identifying and addressing the individual and organizational factors that contribute to these neurological changes. By emphasizing wellness promotion, resilience, and early intervention, individuals are often better equipped to prevent, manage, and recover from burnout, ultimately improving both their neurological health and overall well-being.
